She is responsible for developing and executing community and public affairs strategies to garner support for business initiatives across Long Island.

Samantha has established a career in government affairs without previously working in government or politics.

She started her career in 2017 at Altice USA/Optimum as a paralegal managing regulatory compliance and contract renewals across 21 states.

As she learned the telecommunications industry the intersection with policy and advocacy became part of her portfolio. Samantha sought out mentorship from colleagues and obtained professional development training.

In 2020, she was promoted to an external affairs position, establishing herself as the principal negotiator for multimillion-dollar contracts, registering as a lobbyist, and serving as the company’s liaison for Long Island municipalities.

Samantha finds the most rewarding aspect of her career in the community and public affairs space. She is responsible for collaboratively creating and executing events to support nonprofits, schools, and local communities.

Through these efforts, she highlights the company’s work to local and state elected officials. She continues to seek out causes and develop strategies that are key to her success.

Today, her role transcends the conventional boundaries of government affairs. It is a role that demands not only a thorough understanding of the legislative landscape but also an innate ability to foresee and navigate through the complex interplay of policy and technology – all while advocating for her Company.

Samantha’s key to success lies in her communication skills and ability to build and maintain robust relationships. Whether it is liaising with elected or public officials, collaborating with team members, or engaging with external stakeholders, Samantha does it with authenticity.

She is an avid social media user and strategically uses those platforms to highlight the excellent work in which she is involved. She has a vast network and enjoys connecting people and resources together.

Samantha is on the Young Professionals Board of New Ground Inc., the Young Professionals Committee of the Long Island Association, and is a member of the Women’s Diversity Network.
